I very good resoure for ‘Do-it-yourselfers’. Ask the Builder is a weblog of a Nationally Syndicated News paper columnist Tim Carter. On his site, Tim shows many different tips and tricks of the trade along with videos, pictures, walk-throughs, and many other helpful resources for pretty much any part of the home that you can think of (and some outside the home).

For your safety, state law requires that you call the local “One-Call” underground utility locating center, at least two working days before beginning any excavation work.
